Hey yola
so I have a lot of things I want to talk about
but, before i talk about any of that i want to talk a little about Esther Earl.
Esther was a nerdfighter. And a really sweet girl. she was funny, intelligent, honest. but most of all she was kind. She made vlogs telling people how she was a fraud because we thought she was strong and brave, but she said she got angry and upset sometimes because her illness frustrated her.
But she was this kind and funny person who affected and touched the lives of thousands of people. and today she would have been 18 .
So today is Esther day. Her birthday. Because on her 16th birthday John told her while she was pretty bad with her illness that as long as there was a vlogsbrother youtube channel there would be a video on her birthday and it could be to do with anything she wanted. So could have said anything. But instead Esther said she wanted it to be a day for family and friends. And for telling them you love them. And telling the people you'd usually find it awkward or difficult to tell that you love them. (its not valentines day. no using it to tell someone you fancy or anything like that)
Esther Earl died of Thyroid cancer. She was 16. I never met her. but I feel like I knew her. She was a beautiful person who defiantly left the world a better place for being here.
So Esther on this your 18th birthday I hope you're happy wherever you are. Rest in awesome and DFTBA.
